No, I'm not talking about killing or raping or being gay. I'm talking about just living how you wanna live. I just have a feeling if I behaved like who I really was, then no one would accept me. I feel like a drone, like an actor. I feel so repressed by all the religious people.

There's always a conflict of doing the right thing and doing what you feel that you want to do. When people like you ( and me) are always ready to act perfectly in every situation, they somehow neglect themselves. But, I've tried to do something about me and I felt guilty beacuse i didn't fullfill the expectations of people arround. And I said i'm not that kind of person, I just can't be bad. But after a while i realise that doing something for yourself and neglecting the others its not bad at all. I can give you advice from my experience:don't feel sorry if you think differently from the others, don't feel sorry if you get drunk one night, don't feel sorry if you say to ur friend that the hat is bad....after all u are human and u are unique from everyone else in these universe... don't be afraid to show how you really are... ur not perfect, but you are unique with your own thoughts and lifestyle.... good luck :)

I just have build up the courage by promising myself not to regret it later. I have a philosophy that I only truely care about 3 opinions of three important people. Those people are the ones that support me most, and I don't care about the opinions of those that have never supported me. Only problem is that, whenever 1 of the 3 or all 3 disagree with me, I get very annoyed. Just don't care about what other people think as much or whether ur accepted, don't let others get in the way of ur happiness.

Most people close to you would probably, eventually, accept you for who you are. After years of trying otherwise, my Christian (very Christian) parents finally accept the fact that I'm an atheist and it's really a non-issue at this point. They love me just the same. Besides, lots of people actually value honesty. People tend to respect honest, sincere people and dislike fakers, liars, and sheep-like followers. Most happy people do what they want (in my opinion and experience) they don't just do what other people want them to do. And you can always seek out people with the same beliefs as yourself for support. You only get one chance in this life to be yourself.

You have to make a choice. You have to choose to be happy with yourself no matter what the consequences are. I think you will find that you are more happy, and that people will be more accepting of you. It is hard to do the right thing. It never pays in the moment, but in the long run the rewards are great!

Best of luck to you. Remember, no matter who someone is or does, it does not change who you are. Making the choices we do, is what makes us who we are. Be kind.

i sure dont'like how you put "killing, raping and being gay" in the same sentence clause. but don't let the religious people get you down, or make your discriminate.

Satan gives you that 'repressed' feeling, hon,--NOT PEOPLE!

Don't let him do that to you--EVER!!!

That's what he does--presses you DOWN--"Nobody likes me"
"Nobody likes me the way I am"---
Thoughts from satan, himself.
TELL HIM TO SHUT UP, HE'S A LIAR!!!!

You are worth EVERYTHING! God made you JUST RIGHT!!!

I don't know you, but I love you ! You ARE just right!!!
