Bush is far from charismatic. Nearly every speech I've listened to he makes up a word or uses a word incorrectly. Sometimes he makes absolutely no sense at all. He smiles when he’s talking about something serious and doesn’t use complete sentences when answering questions. I don’t know the man personally. Maybe he gets nervous in public. Maybe he’s very articulate behind closed doors, but from what I’ve seen he is an awful public speaker.

Iraq was a huge mistake. We didn’t find WMD’s and it turns out that the only thing the Iraq people hate more then Sadam was the USA. We found little to no evidence that Iraq was involved in terrorism. But now the place is so full of terrorist we can’t leave. Every day our troops are dying. If we leave the country spirals into a terrorist haven, if we stay we will continue to lose lives and money.

Our national debt is crazy. It's increase by nearly 3 trillion since he has taken office. That's a 37.5% increase compared to what we owed in 2000. People will say, "He cut taxes". It's easy to cut taxes and then borrow more. That's not going to help you kids pay for this debt. At the rate we’re going we will eventually owe more on the interest then the collect in taxes. Also, cutting taxes can’t be helping our Social Security problems.
While Bush offered an idea to help Social Security he was unable to get it passed despite having control of both house. Mainly because his solution was so flawed.

For several years he had a congress controlled by his party and he got very little done.

And for the record I don't hate the Republican Party. Half the people I voted for in the last election were republican. And for the record, I don’t like Nancy Pelosi (spelling?) either.

No I do not claim to be able to do better. I am not qualified to be president. Neither is 95% of the US population. I don't think Bush is qualified either.

Dakota, what facts do you question. Would be glad to add links to where I got the information.

Red Herring, I posted more facts in this then most do. I personally didn't like carter. I could list reasons if you really want them.

Submarine,
Ask me to support a claim I've made above with a link and I will. The economy is doing ok, but at what expense. I offer facts and you offer personal attacks.

All, I'm certainly not questioning Carters intelligence. He is probably one of the most intelligent presidents we've ever had. But let’s face the fact that he was not a very good president.

Like Carter, Bush is a poor administrator. Unlike Carter, Bush isn't very bright.

Carter chose incompetent advisors. Bush chose competent advisors that agree with him and who are loyal to him. Both demonstrated the flawed (southern) value of depending on the good-ole-boy network to come through for them.

Neither of these men really wanted to hear the truth. Both preferred to listen to advice that sounded good to them without checking it out with others before acting. With Bush, it was taken to the extreme in that one who disagreed was questioned with regard to their patriotism.

In spite of their wide differing ideological positions, I think you are probably correct. Both of these men were poor presidents, although they might make fine next door neighbors.

Personally I know nothing of Jimmy Carter.

But I can tell you that Bush is the worst President in the history of the world, and it is an outrage that he has not been impeached already! He MUST BE IMPEACHED!

Bush is an Idiot with the lowest IQ of any President in the last 50 years.

He was not elected either time. He needs to be impeached, tried and convicted of Fraud, High Treason, Murder, Trespass on Government Property, and countless other crimes, and be given at the very least,
10,000 live sentences in a Maximum Security Federal Prison, and sentenced to hard labor, then after 20 - 30 years of that, then you can give him the death penalty.

Nice diatribe, but I am not buying into this often repeated, but never any new information offered game. In other words I can do a search on here and find other bored youths with nothing better to do than rip on the President.

The fact of the matter is that Democrats are going to find fault with Republican party holders. We are at war. Troops die in war. More troops died in a month at Iwo Jima in WW2 than all the American troops that have died in action, accidents, and any other factor (combined together in a single lump sum total) since 1975. That is in 31 years. I could imagine the wailing and hair pulling of you liberals if you had been around during WW2. You would have wanted to surrender there for sure.

The Islamic fundamentalists are on the move. They are going to push their extremism to the limit for many years to come. Matter of fact what they are doing is nothing new.......WTC under the Clinton's? American embassies under the Clinton's? This is an ongoing enterprise on their part.

The economy is more robust than it has been in decades. Unemployment is at an all time low. The small recession we entered at the end of the Clinton era is gone.

I think perhaps the next time you want to attack a man for his physical faults, maybe you should look in a mirror and examine your own faults first. I am sure you can find many. I have already exposed a few for you.

I agree Bush has not been a good president and tells to many lies that people believed. I was grown when Carter was president he tried very hard to be a good president but his trouble was he was honest and a good man and the politicians ate him alive. He is now doing the thing that is most good for this country and gives a better image then Bush and a lot of others ever will.

Don't blame the Democrats of the 1980's for Bush's rank stupidity TODAY. Jimmy Carter was one of America's BEST Humanitarians. Bush is nothing. He seems to HATE people.

And Don't Forget the brainwashed Americans who allowed Bush's destructiveness and illegal operations to continue.

Now's the time to put it together and work to save America from going down the tubes. If you voted, then get out there and go to the town meetings. Read and offer IDEAS and not COMPLAINTS about how to fix this country.

The best way to go about this is to expose the Bush Administration's mistakes to the PUBLIC, then correct the mistakes and remove the anti-Constitutional laws that were just put in place. Then speak to the brightest people in America for IDEAS on how to carry the nation forward before China, India and Europe siphon off all that America has left.

Get involved and show RESPECT for your fellow American.

We were recovering from having impeached a president for our first (and hopefully only) time.

Carter was an unconventional choice. Not a very good Commander in Chief. People chose him for being free of corruption qualities. He excelled at that. It is ironic that that became so nationally depressing for us. Carter should have been selected ambassador instead of president.

Bush is simply the most childishly incompetent president we ever had.
Carter was not incompetent, just depressing.

I don't live in the US but I don't understand why he continues to be your president. He seems like a complete idiot with how he speaks in public, and his lies (He only said there were weapons in Iraq so going over there to "help" the people who do not want his help might not seem so bad).

And who chokes on a pretzel??

A lot of the people in your country need to stop being afraid of change and elect a new president. Besides, real presidents don't make up words.

How was Carter such a bad president? It's what you've been told, I suppose, but you should check some facts before you parrot. To get to a truly bad president you have to go back to the 19th century.
