Depends how much better the salary is and how important living in a city is to you. Personally, I hate the small town mentality where everyone knows everyone else's business. So it would take a lot to move me from the city (even though I was originally from the country).

You have to weigh the benefits and the losses. There was a reason that you applied for this position. Are those reasons objectively still true, or are you just having emotional second thoughts? Make you decision on what is most important to you. Look at the present and the future and decide. Good luck!

The ideal solution would be to try it for three months, while leaving your current job open for you.
If you can't do that, spend a weekend in the small town and see if you like it.
Could you commute for weekends in the city? Somewhere (free) to stay?
It all depends on that.
Only do it if the money is VERY good and the job good for your c.v. Figure on staying one year, and saving money.
