The hospital will tell you. When I worked in the labour ward we gave the first pessary at 6am and after that the ladies were only allowed fluids. Some hospitals have different rules though, best to find out at the hospital you will be at.

Yes, eat lightly with consideration about how it will taste should it come back up. (No orange juice, I'm just saying)
You can also eat during labour. I recommend sneaking some food in. Labour is hard enough without starving yourself. Some doctors tell you not to eat because they are concerned that IF you need a c-section you COULD aspirate the food if it is in your stomach. However a) 99% of the time a c-section is done with an epidural not general anaesthetic. b) the fact that they now intubate when using generally anaesthetic has reduced the aspiration risk to almost 0 and c) pure stomach acid is more dangerous than food.
Please I urge you to learn about Bishop scores and the dangers of cytotec. The proper use of pitocin (including turning it off once labour has started. And whether you really need an induction at all. Here are some links to get you started. Afterall you and your baby are too important to trust any one person blindly.
Best of luck.

Lots of people are going to tell you no, but I made sure I ate before I was induced. You dont want to be hungry for the first couple of hours. Towards the end you wont care, but still in the beginning while your waiting , etc.. you will be really hungry. For some reason Some doctors say not to eat and some say its ok. I never had any types of problems or nausea from eating before hand.

Ask the dr. Personally, I've been induced 4 times and I would NOT eat anything more than 12 hours before the procedure, even if the doc gave you the ok. Trying to birth a child and throwing up is yucky.

No you can not. I've been induced for all three of my kids and they tell you not to eat before either 11:00 or 12:00 the night before. I was starving after having each baby too so sorry but eat like crazy until that time hits.
To find out the time call your obgyn. The card should usually have an emergency number to call and ask questions. good luck!

I have had five children and I made the mistake of eating before I was induced with my first child, I threw up the whole time. DONT EAT! The doctor will tell you not to eat anything 12 hours before you are induced. I would't want to have a little "Accident" bringing my child into this world. That's not a nice way to come into the world.

Induced twice and ate before going to the hospital both times. My advice is if you are hungry have a sandwich or some soup. Keep it light. Trust me you are going to need the energy! Good luck.

I did. They induced me at 5:30 am, so I had a bagel and juice on my way to the hospital.

you sure can! Infact my doctor told me to make sure I eat a hearty meal before being induced, becausyou won't be able to have any food until after your baby is born...which could take a while!

IMHO, it doesn't sound like a good idea. Many medical procedures require that no food be ingested for a certain number of hours beforehand. It would be a good idea to ask your OB/GYN this question.
