Girl, please. I started masturbating a nine, and there's no need to worry. Girls explore themselves when they're just little babies, and when their mother's are changes their diapers it's normal for them to reach down there. That's how they learn what their part is. Then, as soon as a child knows about sex, then they too want to know what that's all about, so then they explore and they learn. It's normal, but don't go out and tell everyone, because that can kind of make people uncomfortable, and then sometimes it makes your parents look bad. There is no reason that you cannot masturbate during the time of your period. Nor is there any reason that you cannot engage in sexual relations during that time. It's a little bit "messy", but many men actually find it incredibly erotic and sexy. Go ahead and masturbate. It would probably help with your cramps just like having sex seems to help. Diddle Away!

I don't think there's any certain time. Some people even have sex during their period. However, for aesthetic reasons, you might want to wait until it's over -- like a day or two.
