The Supreme Court ruled a while back that the warrantless wire-tapping program violated FISA and Amendment IV of the Consitution.
They also ruled that the insurgents are protected too under the Geneva Convention and must be treated in certain conditions.
So not wanting them to be tortured and having a right to a fair trial means we love the terrorists? I think it's really that democrats love our laws, not terrorists.
Republicans, though, act like "If I'm not doing anything wrong I don't have to worry about the wire-tapping"...clearly not cognizant of the fact that what our government is doing is illegal. Either that or they just don't care. Take your pick.

It's funny to watch these republicans call me an idiot simply because they have no way to defend themselves, and know i'm absolutely right.

Quite the opposite, of course.

The Republicans have a lot to answer for here - it's hard to see how they could claim to not be helping al Qaida. The attack on Iraq was the best present Bush could have ever given bin Laden.

No, it's the fact that they are granting Geneva Convention rights on non uniformed combatants and granting rights that the Constitution of the United States grants us upon non US citizens and terrorists. The supreme court is going outside their jurisdiction so to speak. The supreme court is making rulings on things they have no constitutional authority to rule on such as giving the terrorists in Gitmo rights to a trial. Sorry, they are to be tried by a military tribunal. The supreme court has no say in the workings of the military, it is not their concern. The military answers up the chain to the Commander in Chief not the supreme court. They are sticking their noses where it doesn't belong and they may get it cut off.

Why ask such a loaded question when you know full well that Bush supporters will say yes and democrats say of course not. I kinda thought every party had to follow the law, not just the ones in power. Whether that be republican or democrat.

LOL! You sucked me in with the progression question, sturdy job ;-). i became into merely approximately to bypass on a reasonable rant with regard to the Republican ex-congressman from Michigan. to tell the reality, it makes me sense slightly unwell that some individuals bypass around calling their buddies terrorist enthusiasts with the aid of fact they have differing critiques on what to do approximately them. i think of any Republican who has been calling Democrats names like that could desire to could desire to have this guy's call tattooed on their brow to remind them of their very own stupidity and bias. nicely, not possibly, despite the fact that it can be a snigger.

Yea yea, Democrats are absolute saints and Republicans are minions of the Devil. A Democrat could NEVER have ulterior motives for anything they do and only have the welfare of humankind in their hearts. Riiight.

Why don't you handle the talks with Al Qeada yourself! Al Qeada did not sign the Geneva convention, and will not honor it.
