If so, where in Kenya did you go? Did you feel safe there? Did anything bad happen to you in Namibia (if you went there)? And if anything bad happened to you in Namibia, how long were you staying in that city?
I am thinking of studying abroad there, but am having a difficult time convincing my parents!

I have been in nairobi, the capital of kenya. It was like 15 years ago but it was safe. A lot of english speakers so it should not be too difficult to get around and stuff.

Been to Mombassa in Kenya two years ago. The only bit I didn't like was the begging on the beaches the whole time. The Kenyan are friendly.
