San Diego is a great city. It's the 7th largest city in the US but it doesn't really seem that big because it is very spread out into different communities. However, it has all of the advantages of a big city...job opportunities, professional sports, theater, music events, museums, a great zoo, and many other cultural events.

It is a beautiful city located right on the ocean with spectacular scenery. The weather is great....cooler in summer than most cities and warmer in winter than most cities. The mild climate makes for many outdoor sports and recreational activities.

To learn more about some of the specific things to do in San Diego take a look at this site: http://www.sandiego-romantics.com.

Visit before you make any decisions.

I had stayed in San Diego for 2 months earlier this year. I beg to disagree that this isnt the Finest City in the World!
There are many nice things about this place but I still wont consider it finest!

Go see some more beaches all over the US and you will see those are not the most beautiful and IMHO San Diego lost it's 'finest city' status along the same time when they lost the Clippers.

The Finest City in the World? Most certainly not. In America? Not sure about that either, but you could do worse for sure. It's very expensive to live here and actually the jobs and the pay don't really keep up with the cost of living here.

I have lived in the San Diego area for over 20years now. The only reason i stay around is because my mother refuses to move outta the area(shes older, has to have someone close by to watch after her) The weather is normally above 70year round and lots of humidity in the summer months. Rents are too high, and home prices...its impossible to own a home here unless ur loaded with money. Most people leave San Diego and go up into Riverside county to buy homes in the Temecula area.

and btw, most of the time our beaches have warning signs of mexico's sewage spills. Cant go in the water half the time because of that!

It's a city (desert) by the sea. Visit for a week before moving there. Housing is a bit pricey.

NO!!!! There is no weather in SD. During the winter there should be cold, rain, and fog not temperatures in 70s and 80s.
