This is a really good question...
On the one hand you can argue that, if we evolved from apes... Why hasn't there been any changes with apes since then. Apes still look like apes. Monkeys still look like monkeys. So on, and so forth.
But
On the other hand, one can argue that everything has a beginning, and that if we were created by a Superior being, how did it come to be?
It is not a matter of what is true. It is a matter of making a choice. I am just a human being, like everyone else. None of us have all the right answers, and we are all bound to be wrong from time to time. You have to weigh the choices yourself, and come to a conclusion on your own. Although I have made up my own mind, I say neither make more, or less sense then the other.

The supernatural explanation is beyond all reason and uses CAVE MAN logic to explain the unknown, the scientific and observable explanation makes more sense. I've never heard the mud description, you always hear about the primordial soup.

You obviously have no understanding of evolution. Mutating from mud is a really stupid idea, so I guess I'd choose creation, but the literal "God created the earth in seven days." that totally dismisses evolution is also foolish. Evolution does not discount creation in some form, and vice versa.

It's funny that concerned parents get so upset about teaching biology in school, when it's obvious that no one pays attention anyway.

Those who think it all mutated from the mud is strangest. Mud doesn't have cells. Has fibers, though.

Either and neither - we are all the construct of our own reality and when our reality ceases so do we and all we know.
