I've lived in NYC all my life and there are so many stereotypes about Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, etc. that I never even knew existed until I read about them on the internet. So are people in diverse cities like NY and SF less likely to stereotype or is it pretty much the same?

Yes, smaller towns and cities such as rural areas, do not have the diversity and they tend to get their information and ideas from what they see on television. One is a product of their environment. Very sad, however, very true. God bless

It really depends, I mean, I live in miami and here there are mostly hipanics, blacks, and a sprinkling of wite people.

You don't usually hear any stereotypes about white people and asians here.

But I'm hispanic, and me and my black friends rag on each other all the time.

It doesent usually have to do with diversity I think. maybe only very little.
