Have you not got any stables near your home where you could do voluntary work, like cleaning out ,or brushing the horses, they sometimes let you ride the horses for helping out with the chores.

Look for a good riding stable and a local 4-H horse project club. You might be able to work as a groom or stablehand in return for riding lessons, and you'll get extra time to work around horses. If you're in an urban or suburban area, you might have a harder time finding a good stable, but there should be one somewhere. Try searching for some online.

Hi Tony. Find out where there are riding schools and livery yards in your area. I'm sure they would let you help out with the horses. Being around horses is a great learning experience. In return for your work, they may let you ride under supervision.

Look in the telephone directory for your local stable. You'll find loads of people who will fully understand your passion for horses. You might also be able to help out as a volunteer for Riding for the Disabled etc.

Check out some of the local riding stables in your area.
You may be able to trade doing chores for riding.
Private stables may also be able to help you, where you could contact a horse owner.. same thing, chores for riding privileges.

You know... in some states of America you can marry a horse?? I know that doesn't help but just thought I'd let you know. Why not find out where the nearest stables are to you? Maybe you could get a job there.

find a local stables or riding school to help out at. if you have practical experience you could get a job as a groom or something, or if you are still learning you could ask to help out and they can train you. you may even get to ride in return

why don't you get yourself a job/partime job at your local riding school. they are always looking for additional help now that the winter nights are in and especially at the school holidays.
perhaps you could book yourself up for regular hacks/lessons then?
