Mollies are very easy to breed, and don't need any special kinds of light, filter, food, etc. I know this many sound silly, and I'm not trying to offend, but do you have a male and female? They are very easy to tell apart. If you look just underneath their tail fins you should be able to tell. A female has a short, rounded fin underneath, and a male has a long, thin "fin". If you have one of each you should be good to go.

It is best to have some densely packed plants in your tank (preferably live), for the fry to hide in once they are born. Mollies are very prone to eating their young as soon as they are born, so its important you have somewhere the little ones can go to be safe. I have some floating plants on the surface of my breeding tank, which works wonderfully. Once they are born, they will eat crushed fish flakes.

Good luck!

Mollies are the easiest fish to breed. I have 3 females and 1 male. My mollies have had about 5 batches of babies already.
