Do celebrity endorsements influence your shopping?

Not usually.
All it does for me is make me think "Gee, they have all that money and they are using stuff I can afford."
I know that is the desired result, but instead of making me want to use it, I feel better about the celebrity (since they don't waste $100 on moisturizer). My feelings about the celebrity last as long as the commercial, though. I realize they are getting paid for the endorsment and that they probabaly don't use the product.

No. I have no interest in celebrity goods. As far as high-end goods, though, we have cut down on them. I can't stomach wine anymore but I do enjoy good quality whiskey and Drambuie. High fashion is not interesting but my wife likes good quality makeup from Shiseido, Beauty without Cruelty and Clinique. As far as buying stuff, we hit Winner's where you can get some great Dead Sea Salt cream from Israel and Italian hand soap. Also like bargain basement sales at boutiques, the mall, Zeller's, Field's, The Bargain Shop, Calvin Klein, Gitano, Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, XOSO and some Chanel.

Yes--I bought a lip stick because Hally Berry endorsed it.
But I kept using the product because it was really good lipstick
But I am not like that with food products
