"we have the same problem we have had since the usa was formed....not one percent higher...we should simply go back to the way life was before 911 otherwise they have won"

Assuming you are talking about political struggle - Your solution is to simply ignore the problem now?

I can't agree with that, it is a problem (albeit not as huge as some claim) that we are concerned with. My suggestion would be to do my #2, 3, and 4. Then perhaps if the problem isn't that large - we stop.

To prevent another terrorist act we have to become more vigilant, not paranoid, and better acquainted with other nations around the world. We should remember that if someone had actually paid attention to the warning signs about the 19 men that perpetrated 9/11 and if the law enforcement in the certain positions had pressed harder, then the event wold have never happened. We have the tools in place to combat terrorism, we only lack the leadership and discipline to execute these tools.
We also need to stop alienating more countries and people. By having a cowboy attitude, we are displaying that we are not willing ally ourselves with other governments. Some governments genuinely do not like the USA and no amount of diplomacy will change this, but for the ones that are neutral or are our allies, we do not need to push them away from us. We need their resources and they need ours. The terrorist would love to have an isolated target so less people would be inclined to get in the way.

Going back to life before 9/11..... Then that means we are expected to forget all about the fact that thousands died at the hands of terrorists on American soil....Terrorism is a problem that definitely needs to be addressed.. And we are addressing it the way we are suppose to.....

9/11 was a real impact- to turn back now would be completely dishonest. I think America should just declare victory, and fight this war in secret and in the dark, like the terrorists do.

kill them all, let their survivors tell their children stories of folly, of how they angered the worlds nuclear superpower, and suffered from the heat of thousands of suns on their cities and "holy" places. let them speak of us in fear for many generations, so they will never again be so haughty seek anyones destruction in the name of their false god.

They have the WILL to exterminate us, They merely lack the MEANS to do so.

We have the MEANS to exterminate them, We simply lack the WILL

The price of liberty is eternal vigilance.
Why am i not surprised that this dem wants to stick her head in the sand after 9-11 and pretend its 9-10. and then look shocked the next time were hit.

What can we do about it? Nothing.
The Democrats have already surrendered to the terrorists. They demand we treat them nice.
The Terrorists are dancing in the streets. They own Congress.
