My LMP was on Oct 13th. My husband and I had sex on the 27th of Oct (12th day). My periods are ALWAYS on a 28 day schedule. Never late. Cycle was due yesterday. I tested with a home pregnancy test this morning and it came out negative. But I still have not got my period. I don't have any symptoms of it coming and none that I could be pregnant other than my boobs being a little tender. If you could help me in any way please respond!!!

Wait a week and test again, or get blood work done.

Its quite possible that you're pregnant.

LOL. I just read your name. hehe, i like it.

Okay, I am trying to understand what it is that you want help with. Wouldn't Congratulations be more in order? If you are pregnant why isn't it a cause for celebration rather than panic? I am not getting this. You mention your husband, I can tell by the way your post is written that you are not 15 or 16......do you have a medical condition that makes pregnancy contraindicated?
I want to help you but I just don't understand what it is that you are so concerned about.
Are you using birth control of any kind? If you and your husband made love on the 12 day of your cycle that is a perfect day for you to have conceived. If you were trying you could not have picked a better day.
If there is some reason why a pregnancy is this disastorous I would think you would have been using the pill or the shot.
In any case, you can call a doctor and get her to order a blood test. Even this early they are virtually 100% accurate. If you are going to rely on the urine test I would suggest waiting another 4 or 5 days and using your first morning urine, it is most likely to be indicative of a pregnancy.
For your sake I hope you are not pregnant, it does not sound like you would be happy about it.
Good luck.

You may be experiencing a FALSE NEGATIVE with your pregnancy test. There are many factors which may cause this but the most probable is that the test was taken too early.

The window for home pregnancy tests to detect pregnancy (POSITIVE) is 6 to 12 days after fertilization - so you're just passing the end of that window (if you are, indeed, pregnant). I'd take the test once more.

Better yet, see your doctor. He/she can provide a test that's a bit more accurate plus (depending on the timing) can test to see if the egg's maturity is going well. Plus, it gives you a chance to establish a relationship with an OB-GYN early for the baby's sake...

On the other hand, stress, such as physical stress (i.e. lots of exercise or radical change in diet) or mental stress (i.e. significant life event - new job, death in family, moving) can make you lose your period.

Living with one or more females - other than yourself - in the same household can sometimes change your schedule.

Good luck!

It is very possible that you are pregnant!!!!!!!! Sometimes it takes a little longer for the body to build up enough HCG to be detected by a home pregnancy test. Sore breasts are a sign of an inpending period as well as an early sign as pregnancy. I would wait a few days and take another test. You could also make an appointment with the dr. and take a blood test but you will have to wait a few days for the results. Here is a great site to show you your pregnancy probability!!!

I hope you get the results you are looking for! Good luck!!!

You could be pregnant and you just dont have a strong enough concentration of the pregnancy hormone in your urine yet to show up on a HPT. Id wait another week or so and try for another test if your period hasnt shown up yet.

You may not be. When women are stressed their periods are sometimes later. Then again, you never know. Wait and take another home test or go to your doctors for a blood test.

you should wait at least a week after a missed period to get an accurate result. one day late may not mean anything. you could just be irregular this month. cycles dont stay the same your entire life. just wait a week and test.

give it a week or two... if you are stressed over the idea of getting pregnant or if you are trying to get pregnant then the stress may cause your cycle to change..
if you havent started in a week or two then test again...
