Yes all of the gameboy games work on the system that was made after the one that they were made for. On the DS lite there is a part that comes out on the bottom where the games go.

Yes, there are two slots on the DS. The small one is for the DS game carts and the larger one is for GBA carts. GBA games play on the top screen.
My son and daughter have DS's and never go back to the old GBA games.
It's a great hh console. The WiFi games are excellent. Within mins of getting Mariocart we we're playing against a guy in France. Cool !!!

DS lite palms down. I mean in case you purchase your youngster a Gameboy develop you're virtually putting him contained in the darkish a lengthy time period. With a DS lite, you get rechargeable battery, outfitted-in interest gentle, prompt gameplay, the contact show screen, and also you'd be able to play both DS video games and GBA video games.

yes it most certainly is. the thing that i dont get with the current DS selling methods is that the origional ds is the same price as the lite.... confusing.
the only problem with playing gba games on the lite is that they stick out slightly at the slot in the bottom. you might find this annoying, but you might not.
