Toddler is a common term for a child between the ages of one and three years old, although some may consider a toddler to be between two and five. During this period, the child learns a great deal about social roles and develops motor skills; to toddle is to walk unsteadily. The term cruising is used for toddlers who can not toddle but must hold onto something while walking.

I would say a toddler. My son is 20 months and I don't think of him as being a baby anymore really. He only looks like a baby when he is running about in just a nappy or he has a babygro on!

Toddler.

Once he hits 12-months, he's not a baby anymore.

They just grow up too fast!

If a baby is a "toddler" until 2, then why do so many parenting magazines and organizations AND doctors call a 12 month old child a toddler? http://www.babyconnection.com/toddler/toddlerfeeding/10000521/

At 12 months he is regarded as an Infant rather than a Baby. Toddler is just a colloquialism parents use.

Toddler if he's walking but still a baby as well so treat him accordlingly don't expect him to do little boy things yet. They are babies for far too short a time so don't push them to grow up enjoy him as he is for now.
