I am so scard about labor again. i have been through it twice in the last 4 years so I know what it is like.
Is this normal for me to be really scard about labor all over again.
Plus i plan on getting my tubes tied 6 weeks after delivery and I am so scard about that to.
Is there something wrong with me.
Please if you had your tubes tied please tell me about it

Why don't you get your tubes tied when you deliver and have a epidural. That way everything is done under anesthesia you won't feel the pain of child birth and you tubes are tied at the same time. I wouldn't go back in six weeks get it all done at once.

Its okay to feel anxiety about giving birth. I think we all go through it regardless of how many times we have given birth because each experience is different. Its not everyday you have your tubes tied so I would think that that is normal to have fears about, as well. However, if you are feeling overwhelmed with fear I think you should speak with your doctor. He/She should be able to calm your nerves. Also reading as many books on what to expect may help, too. I don't know what I would have done without my "what to expect when you're expecting". An excellent book that prepared me for the labor and delivery process.

You are having completely normal feelings. If it makes you feel any better there are other options other than having your tubes tied.
Look into a procedure called Essure. It is another form of permanent birth control. http://www.essure.com Good luck!

Many women have it done the morning after delivery--you get it over with, and don't have to mess around with finding child care, etc. It really is not a big deal, and only leaves a very small scar.
