I'm trying to trace a animated film from either the 80's or 90's...?

The story is about a group of people on a spaceship that are talking to a small boy who's lost, alone on a planet. The boy is named Peel and thinks that the voices he hears are Mike (which is his microphone) and doesn't realise they are people. There's a strange creature that trys to steal his Mike. He's told by an old guy with a banjo and a metal plate in his head to eat the fruit from the trees that looks like strawberries. Also in the film one of Mikes voices (characters) is a woman and another is her twin brother. Also there are two little aliens that burst out of a flower and joined the crew...they were telepathic. Near the end of the film the twin brother sacrifices himself when they're captured on a planet inhabited by what look like identical faceless angels. These are vague memories but I desperately want to find this again...if you can help?

i think that you're talking about "Time Masters", and i think they made a movie called "fantastic planet", but i dont remember if that was the same characters. i remember seeing that as a kid, and from what i remember, it was probably a movie from europe (the mouths and words didnt match up from what i remember, lol).

yup, i just did a search, and it was time masters! do a search online, and just look for that, or try the name "Piel", good luck finding a copy!
