Although Dell has been going through some problems lately, they are not at the verge of Bankruptcy! Gateway is having some serious problems and they are best avoided!

I don't know anything about Gateway but I can tell you that Dells tend to have a lot of problems. We have a Dell and every time I have to take it into a computer repair shop about 75% of the computers they're working on are Dells. Go to Google and type in 'Gateway computer reviews' and see what other people are saying. Good luck!

eMachines is owned by making use of Gateway. Gateway is a lot lots lots extra valuable than dell. They arn't nicely built, like look at their keep in mind that left like 5 million human beings battery much less and consistent with possibility regardless of a blown up workstation. each and every thing that every physique else reported is in step with opinion. Mine is base on good judgment. whilst became into the final time you heard that a Gateway notebook blew someones residing house up?

Flip a coin and you will get an equally valid answer. Everyones answer is no more than personal opinion. The MOST important between the two is, what's inside? Not who makes it. Both are big companies looking to make the most profit on a sale. Shop around and COMPARE!
95% of computer problems are sitting between the keyboard and the chair. People will always blame the manufacturer for their own mistakes though.

HP is the best computer company, but really it is all about price and what you are getting for the money. Just noticed a great buy for $299 which included a CRT monitor, printer-scanner-copier, and a good computer (not top of the line, but good).
The computer companies don't manufacture most of the parts. They just assemble, support, and market the end item. I really like HP chat for support which continues after the warranty is out.
If you take your time, shop, and learn about what is out there, you can get great deals. Have been programming and teaching computers for 25 years and continue to learn everyday.♥
