passed....... i mean its the logical thing to do....... clean air , if we cut off foreign oil would foreign investors withdraw their accounts and put our countries economy in turmoil?

Big oil will do anything to stifle new energies. Corruption, pay-offs, bribes to Congressmen, etc.

The need for new energy sources are increasing by the day.

Ethanol [Common drinking alcohol] is much safer than methanol [wood alcohol],that's the fuel they use in Indy cars.The problem is the oil companies,they want to use up all the available oil before they switch.Actually Hydrogen is the best fuel.They do not tell you but Urea[a common fertilizer] and water can be used to run the internal combustion engine much more efficiently and with out any pollution.Methanol make you blind in small dosage and kills you with higher dosage of fumes.

go check out the movie "the formula." It puts this in a nice perspective. Our govt. is thick with oil men and women. Every member of Bush's cabinet is on the board of an oil company. This is hardly an environment for change in oil policy or a move to alternative forms of energy.

Democrats keep us dependent upon foreign oil. They won't let us drill in Alaska, on government land, or off-shore.
Why do the Democrats want us dependent?
Money, money, & money.
Big oil is who is investing in Methanol Gas.
If it wasn't for big oil, we would be a Third World Nation.

I'm not convinced DMFCs are the answer. Remember, the technology is still very new and has a long way to go.

Please remember we as consumers are ultimately responsible for enforcing the country's energy policy
