More young people need to get involved in the whole campaign, voting process. I really believe the focus should be to address internal local issues, like education and drugs. Two areas that definitely impact America's youth.

I'm a young voter. They can address college deductions, Iraq, healthcare, and a middle tax cut (we're not rich).

Yeah, education for sure, and lowering college costs- also more kids are interested in things like animal welfare and the environment than one might think. I'm a teen and those issues really matter to me.

Google Howard Dean. Read what he proposes. Makes sense.
The first step to getting ANY age group to vote is to get them registered. Get involved as a volunteer - not for any political party, just for the Board of Elections - to get as many people LEGALLY registered in your area as possible. THEN you can move on to donating more of your time to rockin' the vote. It is a great way to become directly involved in our democratic process, and time well spent performing civic responsibility.
