Hi ladies! I have been experiencing a vaginal discharge that is thick and creamy white. It doesn't itch or burn, but it has a very strong salty smell. I have always had a discharge, I guess more than most women and my doctor says it is normal. But it is very uncomfortable to me whre I have to change pantyliners atleast 6-7 times a day. Anyone with a suggestion?

I think you should go to the doctor. You could have a common infection called bacterial vaginosis, or you may have the beginnings of a yeast infection, even though it doesn't itch or burn at this time. But that amount and type of discharge doesn't sound normal to me. I'd go to the doc if it were me. Good luck! :)

You might have a yeast infection. Normal discharge should be almost translucent , no color, and shouldn't smell. And you shouldn't have to change your pantlyliners 7 times a day like you said. Go to your doctor, she'll know what's wrong.

Well you need to contact a doctor with it. You might have a yeast infection or something else but you always need to talk with your doctor about any new changes. Because you never know when it could be something you need to get treated for or not. take care and contact your doctor.

Sounds like a yeast infection. While itching can be a side effect, not all women get it with a yeast infection. Try an over the counter remedy.

Good luck!

If the discharge is different than normal, it could be a yeast infection. and your doctor can give you a remedy or you can get one at the drug store.

From the sound of it, it does seem like a yeast infection.

i've always heard that discharge is normal, but not for it to have a smell to it. once it smells, it's no longer normal. you should go to the doctor.

I have the same problem too like you. Sometimes I use canesten ovule. It is a little bit annoying when you put it but afterwards I get better.
