I was browsing my songs and it just froze up. It doesnt respond. I did what the manual said to to, reset it. But it still didnt do anything. Can you help? This thing cost me $250 hard earned dollars and Its only 2 weeks old. Its never had any issues before :(

this has happened to mine too. if you still can't do anything with it, you might just have to wait until the battery dies and it shuts off. then try it again. good luck, hope you can fix it

I called a guy at Best Buy when mine froze, and he told me to hold down the center + menu button at the same time until the Apple logo comes on the screen. Worked like a charm!

U can connect it 2 ur computer sometimes just by doing that it unfrezez.Tri it that happended 2 mine and thats how it un froze.

i'm sorry, i can't answer how to reset this thing..but i can give you advice. don't buy any type of ipod! nano, shuffle, ipod video..they all are cheaply made && definitely aren't worth it! i've had plenty of friends to get these && they all mess up. some have the nano && it's all scratched up! && i had another friend to have an ipod video where he touched the screen && it went blank && wouldn't ever turn back on! so the best advice is..don't get another one! not worth the money!

u can do one in each of three issues plug it into itunes and notice what happens, enable the battery die and then fee it, or turn the carry activate and rancid for like 4times and then carry the middle button and the menu button and it is going to restart your ipod stable success

it happend to me to its ok hold the menu and middle button at the same time but hold it softly not to hard .
