if your saying that it wont boot up at all...cant hear or feel tha hard drive spining when you turn the power on, then its 2 possiblities.

1) your hard drive went out
2) your power cable went out

There are universal power adapters available at Best buy, circuit city, comp usa, that you could go buy, and test and return if it turns out it is in fact the power adapter.
It would be a shame if you take it somewhere, and they spend all this time and charge you all this money to test it.

So do it for yourself. isolate at least its not that problem.
If thats not it then its more than likely the power supply within the laptop.

that really shouldnt be too difficult to fix. Online, manufacturer, or somewhere like pricewatch, ebay or even ubid will have what youre looking for.
The real trick will be opening up that guy and replacing it.

If its under warranty, you cant break the seal unless youre a certified tech. In which case, call manufacturer and they will take care of it. will take some time, but at least it will work for you.

If you have valuable data on it, you could get a laptop hard drive enclosure and that will allow you to back up your data before you send it away -- but then youll be back to breaking the seal scenario.

But thats the best I can do without actually having said laptop in front of me.

good luck .. hope it helps

Power off, remove battery, all wires. Connect AC adapter only, power on. Run on Safe mode only. If it doesnt boot at all but light indicators are on, then reinstalling Windows. If more, send question.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
