The Strand Palace on the Strand in Covent Garden is fine and not too pricey. The Thistle Marble Arch and Thistle Charing Cross can also be good value sometimes.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn Regents Park. There are three tube stations near the area (Great Portland Street, Euston, and Warren). They're a bit of a walk but it's worth it. I believe on the way to Great Portland Street tube you'll pass Madame Tussauds.

The regent Palace hotel at Piccadilly circus is very good very central and not over expensive you can get a room with or without bath or with or with out breakfast

but prices start from £129 i think. but is nice hotel.
