usually it's normal that we get thirsty every after we eat meal. but in your case that you are pregnant you might need to drink lots of water as you feel more thirsty epecially if your baby gets bigger you may like to eat and drink for 2 as well. don't worry that's usually normal, there are lots of weird things on pregnancy as long there are no serious concerns....if you're on doubt why not try to see your midwife or gp for a chatt regarding your concerns? best of luck!

When i was pregnant i used to drink gallons after eating. I dont know why. I just couldnt go without a drink. I was like the woman out of look whos talking who guzzled a massive bottle of orange juice!
Im not sure what causes it but both me and my daughter are happy and healthy. So it cant cause any harm!

It means your thirsty. Drink something.
Your water needs go up when you're pregnant, and eating food can cause you to realize youre thirsty. Mostly because your body automatically reacts as though its hungry when really it needs minerals and water, when you eat and fill the void, you're left with that thirsty feeling.

You could be a gestational diabetic, i.e you are only diabetic when pregnant. I would get a blood test and start watching what you eat.
I had to test my blood sugars just before i had something to eat.
How big are you another sign of a diabetic is that they have large babies.
Please get your sugars tested.

You obviously need to increase you water intake...
and ask your midwife to run tests for gestational diabetes, that can be one of the flags for this condition.
Good luck!
