Just tell them you want them pierced and give them reasons why you do.

don't nag, and don't say "because everyone has them" because even though they may that's not a legitimate reason. just be nice, and explain not only why you want them but why you think you should be able to, like, you're responsible enough, etc. maybe you can reason with them so if you start doing one thing, they'll let you get them. i.e. if a person wants a dog they need to show they can handle a pet by taking care of, say, fish first or doing homework on time or doing all chores. i got mine when i was 13, i thought that was a good age actually even though i had wanted them for a long time before that. also once you do get them take good care, follow directions of the piercing people, and don't buy like really cheap earrings they tend to infect and stuff.

heres a good way, if ur mom (or dad, but mom works best as they take more kindly to other peoples opinions - most of the time!) is talking to, say, your friends mom, or someone that you know has their daughters ears pierced, and if you know they'll be talking for a while, interupt their conversation politely and ask your mom can you get your ears pierced (say it loud enough so the other mom can hear) she'll probably say no, chuckle, and get back to talkign to the other person. most likely, one of them will mention what you just asked, and that could start a whole new conversation about ear piercings. the other mom would say along the lines of "her daughters got them done and everything was fine" and this could convince ur mom a little, talk more to her about it when the other person has gone, ease her more and more into the idea. this is just my suggestion anyways :)

oh, and whatever you do..don't beg! will NOT work!

first don't nag, they will get annoyed. second whats the harm in getting your ear pierced you only get an infection if you don't clean your ears the first few months then after that there isn't really way you get an infection. If you have sensitive ears makes sure you buy sterling silver and nothing fake. You don't have to get heavy or dangling ears, studs and small hoops are really cute. If you follow this advice, do some extra chores at home, get good grades, and then explain to them at length why you want your ears pierced. And remember belly button, eye brow, cheek, and lip piercings are nasty and way to far.

tell your mom its in basic terms a peircing, you are able to take it out its in contrast to a tattoo. its in basic terms a small hollow which you cant even see whilst theres no earring in and say that one and all you like it a stud, no gauges or something loopy (except thats what you like lol)

I got mine at age 7.... long time ago..... long long time ago........ you will have to prove yourself worthy and being responsible. You must clean them every morning and night with peroxide and wear gold earrings for at least 6 weeks, cleaning them. Start researching places close to your home to get them done like the mall or something. Good luck!

when i was 12 i wanted to get a second hole. i told my mom that i wanted to have it done and that i wanted her to do it. i gave her a needle and a bunch of ice. i told her that if she didnt do it then i was going to do it right there in front of her, she almost passed out and then she took me to a peircing parlor. obviously im a little extreme, but good luck with that one.

What type of people are your parents? Are they the type of people that let you do things when you give them valid reasons or when you act sweet and beg them? Play on this, it should help. Good luck ;)
