Do you ever think there will be a true mulicultural society?

When all I hear on the news is either about muslims veils or the BNP leader getting off scott free it really points out the problem we got in U.K. Can we bring a discussion about without it being shouted down? Is the idea of us living side-by-side just a dream? I hope not but I'd like to read any comments from anyone.

I quite like Japanese food, but thats no reason for 500,000 Japanese people to come and move here is it!

Hopefully not in my life time!Whats this obsession with being one huge melting pot?Look through history and you will see different cultures living together always clash.People that emigrated from the caribean and India during the 50's and 60's came here because they loved the british way of life and integrated.Immagration was under control back then but today is a much different story.We are now close to losing our identity and British culture.Why must we pander to the ethnic minorities?When in Rome be a Roman.I'm sick of muslim fanatics burning the Union Flag and trying to force Islam down our throats.Islam is not a peaceful religion but a dangerous philosophy.Nick Griffin of the BNP was right about Islam it is a vicious wicked faith.How the hell can wearing a veil be liberating for women?Its a nonsense.Why is it OK for muslims to be viciously anti semetic and get away scott free?I'm also fed up with this corrupt stalinist government that try to imprison people for having an opinion that they don't aggree with.Look at the BBC have you ever watched an episode of Question Time?All the audience is very carefully selected,the panel is all part of this rotten establishment and the questions asked are all carefully censored.This government is about control and if Labour get re-elected then this country is heading for dictatorship!
There should only be one culture the British culture!Lets get our country back,pull out of Iraq,secure our borders,stop anymore immagration.We our a small island,we can't take in the whole world.

I hope not in the sense that the term is currently used. While many aspects of Eastern culture can usefully supplement the British cultures, where there is a conflict, we should all strive to ensure that our indigenous culture prevails. The idea of changing this country's laws to accommodate interlopers would be laughable if it were not happening before our eyes. If the moderate views of Enoch Powell and Nick Griffin are to be outlawed then maybe England needs an Adolf Hitler to roll back the actions of successive governments who have failed to listen to those who produce most of it's revenue.

Go back in time even people of same culture colour race Have had wars separations .Do you think if we were all 1 colour and all same religion same culture.There would be no problems .Of cause there would The worst wars in the history of the world .have been fought from people of the same colour.What are Civil wars all about they answer your Question.The answer is if some one is OK with you .then it is easy to be OK with them who or were ever they come from .Good person of a different colour and culture is better to know than a not very nice person of your colour or culture .The answer is No.The news is crap rubbish plays on peoples sintiment and is full of boring BRAIN WASH pinch of salt

it is never going to happen.and the British way of free speech.has long gone.because if we do say something.we are called racists.but every one else.can say what they like about the British and get away with it.when in Rome do as the Romans do.we should not change how way of life them.they should change there.ways to the British way.if not find a country that as the same ways as there.most british people are scared to say anything these days.in case they are called rasicts.

I think there is an increasingly insecure feeling toward the notion of multiculturalism in Britain. 20 years ago, people championed this notion. But since last year, people have been less sure.

i think there will only be one race one day because while all the black guys and asian men hit on white women they will slowly burn there race out as the white gene is stronger than the black one ... hence 1/2 cast then 1/4 cast then a white bloke with a slight tan !!! will take a while but 200 years from now ....
