I don't want to cause trouble, but what if she is hiding something from you and she says "forgot the password"?

Guess what my friend. This is not only the weekend, but a holiday weekend. Not much chance of finding someone in operations at a place like "Yahoo" or something 2 that effect. Yes I have a somewhat a cauclated guess that U may have aready tried. First U already no date of birth, zipcode is the clue. I think I gathered that from U. If U didn't no, U do now. Any slight altration will send U straight 2 h___. Ok, now, think. -------------------------.What key, when signing up 4 your account did she possibably hit at the same time. Like, she meant 2 hit a 4. But hit $ & 5 at same time. U C .Think-------- If that it was D>O>B> being U wife, chanches are it was not the month or day. girls sometimes have a subconcicious tendency 2 under age themselfs. o well, that keeps us on our toes. e.g. if she was in 1983, try 1982. maby ask her what lie she maby have been fantizing about lately. If it was z-code,U guess is as good as mine. 1 more try. Have her simulate the exact same process on the same computer, without implyong extra caution. See what happens. Could B the answer.Ok? Next time also have a alternate e-mail address listed in your account. that would get U in. A backup foe a backup<<<>?>>>"twisteditstrue" Good Luck

When she tries to log in, click on the link that says lost password or change password. It should email a new password to you. That is provided you used a different email address to sign up for your yahoo account.

The security question is usually your mothers maiden name or where you were born. If you get this right you can request or change your password.

If your wife is using a free account she won't get any help from Yahoo Customer Care or Tech Support. The TOS states this and must be agreed to for an account.

If she is a paying customer she should get help from Yahoo Customer Care or Tech Support.

She needs to explain her problem at this feedback site:

It sounds like she's trying to use webmail correct? Like yahoo, msn, something like that? Not like she can't log into windows, right?
You'd have to call their support and get them to reset the password, or they can verify the information like dob zip stuff, and change it to what it should be.
Good luck!

When you start up your computer press F8 (the keys above your number keys) Go into safe mode, then you can log in there without a password. Chnage it in there (no password required) write it down. Then restart.
