most of the spanish restaurants will be closed. but there's lots of brit bars open, where you will get a warm welcome and a great dinner. but unfortunately as one doylum suggested you won't be able to get a copy of the sun. you could also get a meal at any of the larger hotels, just check out reception. have a nice xmas.

It might be worth going on the net to find places

We were in Spain for Xmas day last year (not Benidorm) but we found that a lot of places were closed and those that were open were for ppl that had made reservations

Ps we only arrived Xmas day morning (we ended up at MacDonalds which was open!)

You will need to book somewhere, or be content with a meal at a chinese as they will be about the only places you'll get into without a booking. My family normally have party food and lots of alcohol together xmas day and then a roast on boxing day. Xmas day the kids are too busy with their toys and too full of chocolate etc that they dont really want a big dinner, and the adults are too full of alcohol to eat too!!!
