I heard that Summer was coming up in Australia.

Yes it's true! I was just online this morning on my Messenger with a friend, who lives just outside of Sydney (we play online card games) and she's been envious of our summer and now it's my turn to be envious of her summer!

Yes. The northern hemisphere experiences opposite seasons from those of the southern hemisphere due to the fact that the earth has an approzimately 23 degree tilt to it's axis. as we circle the sun, this tilt means that the sun's most direct light is at the equator and below, and the northern hemisphere gets more oblique, or indirect rays.
