US saved again Israel from another sanction("What a big surprise!!!")...Like the Palestinians aren't angry enough on US this will anger them even more. And I can't say that they aren't right, because they have every right to be angry...
So US is approving again Israel's crimes... What could stop now Israel from making again those kind of "technical failures",seeing that once again they got away with murder?Nothing...

Oh sir~
That is a good question- wish I had a good answer for you !
I just have an honest one.

Not all Americans believe the same as our government.
Our recent election proves that. The governing parties have been changed out and we will hopefully see a change in policy soon regarding both world and homeland affairs.

The Israeli war with Palestine is an ancient one, as you know.
I do not assume to understand "why" people must fight over property lines and loose precious lives over greed and money.

The cultural and religious aspect of it is so complex, I honestly can't understand the desire to please a "god" by killing your neighbors and their children or strangers to get into heaven.

I'm just a regular person a proud Texan and American. We pray everyday for world peace and understanding. The crisis very sad. I'm not sure what the "right" thing is too do here, the "rules" have changed so much and "war" brings out the worst in any people. No matter their origin.

I do have friends from all over the world and seeing "life" through their eyes and hearing their words, it feels real. I see, experience and know people "in pain" from such events. From the France to Vietnam the world is at war, diseased or starving. WHY?

Our modern world is so crowded with imagines of war and fighting, most folks are desensitized to the "true nature" and pain of the reality of such, until it effects them personally.

Best wishes and thanks for the thought provoking question.

While I am not an USian, I fully understand the US position.
Why are they supposed to support people who call for the destruction of the US every day?
Why are they supposed to condemn Israel- when it is the hamas and hezbollah who push the women and children into the firing line?
The arab leaders who do not care about the lives of the palestinians are precisely the leaders of hamas and hezbollah. And it is they who send people out to die- while the "leaders" stay hidden in safe bunkers. Double standards indeed. Let them carry a dynamite belt themselves and see how they like it.
Peace upon you.

The USA used depleted uranium in its latest wars-so it purposely target civilians in order to kill as many as possible-which is unlike Israel, whose policy is to avoid civilian casualties. But It is not out of some desire not to be hypocrites that American representatives in the US veto resolutions condemning Israel. It is because Israel is its moocher client, which is a disgrace for Israel.

It is true, the U.S. government does support Israel. It is a shame. Some country should indict the U.S. on war crimes and Crimes Against Humanity. The U.S. is probably more guilty than anyone for committing atrocities. They are a terrorist nation.
