I love his music. Every single song and every single album, i'm a huge fan. Not only is he a lyrical genius (in my opinion anyway, i think the man is brilliant at writing songs), he's also a genius at 'manipulating the masses' (if i can put it that way). What i mean is, he deliberately goes out to piss everyone off (which he achieves with great success) and still people buy his albums.
I think he's a genius in the sense that he has used the media to his advantage in a geat way. By going out and doing outrageous things, papers write about him, people want to interview him, he creates scandal and controversy. And this, of course, leads to free publicity. Because now everyone wants to see what all the fuss is about.
Love him or hate him, everybody at least knows about him. (If you've ever seen an interview with him, read his book or seen one of his dvd's you'd know he also has an excellent sense of humor by the way). Personally i love him and i love his music. He put everything he had into his songs and his performances.

I love some of his music. But I can't stand most of it. As A person you can't really say bacause the marilyn Manson we know is only what he shows us, stage gimmicks and press candy. the same as any celebrity. But his gimmicks are pretty obnoxious. You gotta give him credit though, he's influenced alot of sad kids in jr high to be something other than just a sad kid.

He blames no one, and wants to be hated for all the right reasons. His music rocks, he's drop dead sexy, he's talented, smart.
