well for black people it helps our skin retain moisture. i hate being ashy. especially the ankles, elbows, hands, knees and face.

I have not found any benefits of using Cocoa Butter. I know there is a lot of hype about it's ability to lesson dark spots but it didn't work for me. Although, it is a good moisturizer if not used in access.

I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter. It helps fade scars and stretch marks, it may take a while to see results, but it works.
