Humanists would say there was nothing wrong and encourage the person to express him/herself in whatever way they could.

Interpretive theorists would just try to understand the problem.

Conflict theorists would simply put the person into the "lumpen proletariat".

Functionalists would either try to correct the problem or consign the person to the bottom of the "heap".
