I believe that many do try to keep us divided and do so to get votes for their own party. Since we all face a crucial challenge, it should behoove all of us to remember we are in this together and that we need to face the real enemy of our time - the radical islamists who hate all of us. To my fellow Americans, remember "that together we stand and divided we fall."

Can't really blame the "left" for much of the division that's been occurring. To be frank, even "moderate" Republicans did not have a place in the administration until after this mid-term election.

the middle is sane and larger than either extreme...they have more in common than they are led to believe by the radical political pundits...it's in the interest of the pundits to show the small differences as a huge divide.
