First of all, they don't have to boast about their ability to show humility. That is, in fact, contradicting to what humility really is.
Secondly, I have seen some republicans (although I will admit not many) who have complained about "dirty campaign tactics" of the democrats and the Virginia state election.
Not to mention republicans are currently venting out their frustration over the elections by means of insulting the agenda of the democratic congress which will convene in January...even though they prove to have no idea what truly is the democratic agenda. They listen to republican propaganda and then they form their untrue and biased opinions about the goals of democrats, and it's pathetic. But most of all, hold off criticism until January if you want to be fair for God's sake!
Lastly, don't dish out what you can't take. Republicans have been reprimanding democrats for 6 years for merely speaking out against the Bush Administration's errors and corruption in office.
Democrats certainly do have the right to gloat about the elections. And don’t anyone dare say otherwise in an attempt to silence them.

Totally agree. I don't even gloat, but in the part of the country I live in, you still can't express relief at the way the recent elections turned out. I have never seen so many people in my life who can't stand to admit they were wrong about those bozo's in the White House. I just thank God that He gave me the ability to be compassionate toward my fellow man, and the discernment to see through the blatant lies of politicians.
These people who cannot see that this country must always have checks and balances are just being played, not dissimilar to the way Hitler played Germany. I'm so happy that won't work here- I was beginning to worry. Excuse me while I take a silent moment to gloat to myself.....

Personally I haven't heard of any agenda for January other than Senator Rangle proposing tax hikes across the board.

For six years the democrats have complained there was no compromising or following of their advise , they threatened filibusters on judges and wanted amnesty for illegal aliens . I don't think any of that has changed. The shoe is now on the other foot and they are in control. So the status quo will be the same.

There is no reason to gloat until they accomplish something in Washington other than the same old stuff.

Do something other than give us higher taxes , more people of welfare and more social programs that keep citizens at the poverty level.

in my opinion i have not heard of any time table for January except Senator Rangle offering tax hikes by the board. for 6 years the democrats have complained there replaced into no compromising or following of their propose , they threatened filibusters on judges and needed amnesty for unlawful extraterrestrial beings . i don't believe of any of that has replaced. The shoe is now on the different foot and they are in administration. So the status quo will be an similar. there's no reason to brag until eventually they accomplish something in Washington except the time-honored stuff. Do something except provide us larger taxes , extra people of welfare and extra social courses that save voters on the poverty aspect.

It's funny how people feel like they have won a personal victory because one party or another has gained ground on one election or another. These generalized "we" and "they" statements are pretty ridiculous. One day, hopefully, people will start to pay a little more attention to the actual people they are electing, and quit pounding a party drum so loud. If there was half as much energy expended on picking good people, we'd all be way ahead of the game.

We care because we know that they are lying to us.
They didn't care when they had the power, and they abused the privilige of being elected and trusted by the people. Nothing they say now, will change the events, their conduct and the damage that was done to our Country and other countries.
