Well Diana my fiance is also an artist and has built her own website showing her art. You can also see about getting into various art shows and join local art communities. Although she hasn't sold any of her works from her webpage yet she has art hanging at a couple of different galleries and she has been very successful this past year with selling her art. I am very supportive of he endeavors and believe that she will break through and be recognized as one of Canada's better artist in her era. The art communities allows her to meet and get to know others with the same passion for this type of work that she has and network with others also about upcoming shows etc. Best of luck to you in your career as an artist, and have faith and believe that you are a viable artist and good things will happen to you also.

There's a place in my city where you can take items & they'll photo them & put them on the internet for Ebay. But, since people can buy items on Ebay for ridiculously low amts, you might not want to do this. So someone else will have to help you.
Does your city have an art fair or are you near to someone who does? If so, check with the Chamber of Commerce & they might steer you in the right direction.

don't do ebay, people want art for nothing there. get your own website, either build or hire a designer and have a shopping cart feature. Yahoo also has templates and easy to use tools for small businesses, which is what you are trying to be. you should learn about legal issues like taxes if you plan to try and make money on prints.
hope this helps

Deviantart.com is planning to make its prints program free very soon. (It currently costs around $30 for a prints account and you can upload your paintings and set your prices etc)
They do prints, canvas prints, mugs, puzzles, and mousepads I think. The prints are very good quality (I have a few), and you'll be able to sell them for free soon.
I also have a friend who sells art on ebay, and apparently makes a lot from it.
