Sex is safe during the entire pregnancy- my doctor told me so-as long as you aren't high risk. Now, as far as the bleeding, that can happen to some... not sure if the large amount would be mucus plug or not. They do say sex can bring on labor- but in my case, we had sex the ENTIRE pregnancy, and I really don't think it affected anything. My baby was overdue one week exactly when he decided to come- so I was 41 weeks when I had him. It's really up to that sweet little baby when they want to come out. Just be careful-and always keep track of what you see... so you can let your doctor know. Also, if you think your water has broken, be sure to go to the hospital... they will keep you if it has-because you could get an infection.
goodluck and congrats on your new baby!

Hi Heather This is normal darling and there's not an awful lot you can do about it to be honest. Its hardly surprising that you aren't in to sex right now, your hormones will be all over, you're not going to be feeling the most sexiest right now and of course its uncomfortable and painful everything is going to be all squashed up inside and there's always the added fear that baby might be able to feel or that baby will get hurt. There are still things you can do with your husband that you can both enjoy, hand or oral relieve for example and maybe incorporate a buzzing friend which I must admit sometimes gets me off more than my man!!!!! Your sex drive will come back but I cant promise this will be straight away, once baby is here you're going to be tired for different reasons, just promise you will keep time to one side for you and your husband even if its just for hugs and kisses. Congrats and good luck xxx

Be careful at 34 weeks-you dont want to try to start labor until at least 37 weeks when the baby is considered full term.Don't let him do it in you until week 37-make him pull out.

yes it is very likely your mucus plug. You are likely to have that happen if you had an orgasm
