I'm turning 16. This is my third year in a new school, with totally new people. Once I was invited to a birthday party, but I couldn't go, and since then I've never been invited. I think that my new friends think that I didn't want to go.

I need to invite them to my own birthday party.
My parents don't think it's right for a guy to invite any girls to his birthday party, so that option is gone.

Does anyone have any ideas?
I need to invite my male friends over for the party, but I don't know how to do it, where etc.

One friend of mine isn't even friends with the rest of my friends, so if he came, he would have noone to talk to but me, and it wouldn't be right talking to only one person the entire time.

Please Help... :)

If it's a communication problem why don't you invite a bunch of guys to go watch a movie and then go eat something at your house.

Instead of having the party at home where you guys will be pressed to talk to each other and find things to do, why don't you have the party on neutral ground? That way even your friend who isn't friends with the other guys can have a great time. Try a laser tag center or miniature golf place. Most guys wouldn't say no to an opportunity to shoot other guys with paintballs either. They'd all show up and have a great time. Sell it to your parents by telling them there will be no mess for them to clean up after the party's over. Have fun and Happy Birthday!

Hi, and Happy Birthday. You didn't mention your budget for the party, but if you and your parents are going to pool some $ to celebrate your 16th, you might consider having it at an arcade or a place like Dave & Buster's if there's one in your area. You can give each guest a certain number of tokens or a game card to play for an hour or so. Because there are different games and activities at a place like that, your guests can mix and mingle separately or together and still have a good time. Then they could come back to your house for pizza/cake. Have fun!

Happy Birthday husam! I'm sorry your parents think it's "improper" to invite girls to your party. However, might they reconsider if it's "chaperoned"? I would invite as many friends as you can, and have it at your local "Bowling Alley". This is a fun "sport" that's pretty easy on the "wallet". Plus, on the weekends at my local Bowling Alley, they have what's called..."Teen-night". The lanes are all lit up, disco ball, strobe lights and "loud" music! Even if you can't invite girls...who's to say you couldn't "casually" mention[to some girls] that your B-Day party is going to be there? I'll never tell...LOL! Have Fun XOXO Moonpie

if throwing your own party is a problem you just need to go to a few. you dont have to be invited to them personally by someone, just go with your friends as a group.

and your one friend who isnt friends with any of your other friends has a chance to meet new people. it doesnt matter if they don't know everyone there.
