I want to by a budget laptop, windows xp, just wondering if anyone knows where i can buy a really cheap one?

This Gateway got good reviews for basic use.

Those low cost ones that Walmart and Fry's are selling are scary and you should stir way clear of them. Even the low end model that Dell offers is just plain unusable. Laptop are one of those things where you get what you pay for, set your budget as high as you can.
