How do you feel we could bring it back ?
I love it when my man does something special
and goes out of the way to make that effort .
It makes me fall in love with him all over again .
I also like to do special things to let him know that
I am glad he is my lover .
I'm not talking about spending alot of money ,that's
to easy , I mean the personal things .

No, or at least not in mine. I have been with my husband 16+years and we have been married 14+ years. And we still have a lot of romance in our relationship. Don't get me wrong things have changed and evolved over the years. Like now instead of an I love you post it note stuck to the dash of his truck. Now I send text messages and he calls me several times a day to tell me he loves and misses me. And if he can't call he text messages me. And instead of things like flowers has a romantic jester he rotates the tires on my truck so I won't have to do it when i change my oil. I know to most woman that wouldn't be a romantic thing but to me it is. It tells me that he cares and that he worries about me. When I am depressed or sick he constantly text messages me and tells me what a wonderful wife I am and how much he appreciates what a wonderful job I do in taking care of our son. It isn't wine and flowers. It is better it is a lot easier to stop at a store and by some meaningless little trinket but to takes time out of his very busy schedule to say I love or miss you that's way more valuable.

That would be great, but it doesn't work like that here for me. Things have changed here over the years. I think what you are doing now is a great start. Years back, my husband would leave a flower and/or sweet love note on the car. I would do the same. He even tried to pay my book fees when I was in college, but it didn't work. Just doing little stuff like that is the best I think. I used to put love notes in his lunch pail when he would go to work and then he would find them at lunch time. Good luck.....SAM
