yupchargee and normal, yeah, but abstaining means we don't agree. Veto means 'we won't allow you to say your piece'. Doesn't it?

There's no reason to hide a righteous point of view. If you have a valid opinion you should express it and a veto does just that. In the words of our ambassador - This resolution does not display an even-handed characterisation of the recent events in Gaza, nor does it advance the cause of Israeli-Palestinian peace to which we aspire and for which we are working assiduously," he said

You are not free when it come to Israel sorry 33 times the USA protected Israeli killing of the poor Palestinians Why look what Sharon said about the issue:"Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . Because the veto was right. Why do most countries do what is expedient rather than what is right?

because we are allied to the hip with israel, its just a fact of life,....deal with it..
