and what is a satan????why they worship it????????

Satan is a Christian belief not one i follow..
Hard to follow or worship something i dont believe exsists.

Here's an answer I gave about yesterday:
Goth is more a lifestyle or outlook on life than anything. They tend to accept that there are bad things as well as good things in life, rather than sweep them under the rug and pretend they don't exist. They can dress however they want, although many prefer darker colors and more dramatic clothes and makeup, and listen to lots of songs and varied genres of music, which can include but are by no means limited to, new wave, darkwave, ethereal, Celtic, goth rock, punk, postpunk, chants, heavy metal, industrial, Latin, et cetera. Not all are interested in vampires - in fact, relatively few are. Many if not most have good relationships with their parents. Very few have mental or psychological problems. Most are actually quite nice, if a bit saturnine. Very, very, very few are 'satanists' or 'devil worsippers'. Most of the young teenagers who listen to Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Slipknot, Korn, My Chemical Romance, Drowning Pool, et cetera and wear heavy thick makeup and studded spike collars and bracelets are called 'Mall goths', shop mostly at Hot Topic, and - this is important - they're not real goths. They just seem to think they are. They act disturbed and surly and try to impress/intimidate people. It seldom works, as most are obviously pathetic, and almost all will (thankfully) grow out of it. Gothic people are not all satanic they talk about all that other stuff because they are confused the Gothic culture actually started in the catholic church and they branched out into another type of belief the catholic church in some ways is very morbid in their beliefs and these people took interest in the morbidity and thrived on it to fully understand goth you would need to fully understand the darkness of the catholic church and as far as your question about Satan the answer to that would only be understood by a christian Satan was an angel he was the most beautiful angel in heaven but he did not believe that the people of earth deserved to come to heaven and have the right to live among the true angels who had never been tainted by earthly temptation and so he rebelled against god and god cast him out to rule the underworld so i guess he figure that if he didn't want to exist among the people who deserved to go to heaven then he could exist among the people who didn't

Everyone in our surrounding have a faith in god as u too might have the same for some god maybe GANESHA..the same is for these gothic people..they bellive in satan..and well just its for there faith ..so really we cant discuss why they worship these satan..as we cant discus why we worship god..

the Goths were a group of Germanic tribes during the end of the roman empire, some of these tribes were the vandals , visigoths ,and almans, they didn't worship satan they worshiped a god know as tyw or tyr who was represented by a sword stuck point down into the ground. the day of the week Teusday is named after this god. he was supposed to be the god of valour in battle

im afraid you have been very misinformed. Gothic as it is now is a culture of music and clothing. there are many types of goth rangeing from your stereotypical all black wearing goth to cybergoths who favor bright colors and plastic. there are the goths who lie medieval style clothes and the goths who prefer futuristic clothing or leather.

what you have seen are probably people who don't fully understand what the subculture is and are trying to fit in with their image of "goth"

religion is not really a part of it though more often than less they either reject it or celebrate a lesser known religion such as Wicca or paganism.
