I think it's already causing good things to happen......Rumsfeld's gone and Bush has been put on a leash. I think the Dems will accomplish a great deal for the American people as well as the rest of the world.

Americans have fallen to the ground and raised the white flag to the terrorists. Do you think they will have mercy on those who cast the PROTEST vote when they come to blow up the White House? I guarantee they will take no prisoners. This was the dumbest things the voters of this nation have ever done. What this says is we are weak. Shame, shame, shame.

Ka BOOM ! The fiIghting will be brought to the US. At least the Bush administration kept it over there. Well as the Bible says there is a reason for the season. There is a reason this change has been made. Guess we will wait and see.

Well Pelosi is a known China hater, so that's not good. It's time for an independent party to make changes in our foreign policy.

a lot! i am so excited. finally our nation has recognized this dangerous and stupid path we have been travelling. we have spoken and we want change! i think that decisions with Iraq will change and the level of conservatism will obviously lower greatly. but since the pres is republican i think all movements will be slower, b/c he will repeatedly veto everything and vice versa. it will return the govt to its normal state (it is pretty rare that the majority of the house/senate matches the president's party)

They don't have a very large one in the House and in the Senate they have absolute minimal seats.
They better hope no one decides to swith from Dem to Republican!
Or that one of them dies.
I think the Republicans will win it back when they defeat Clinton in 08.
