The planets in our solar system have names. Our galaxy has a name. What would be a fitting name for our beautiful body of planets known as our "solar system"?

It should be named after our "star" performer:

Sol

or more appropriately

The Solaris System

I think it already is.

How about the ZEUS System, since many of our planets are names after Greek gods.

Then again, Our systems name is Solar System, named after our sun SOL.

It already has a name. This is the Sol System (named after the name of the star) and more commonly called the "solar system".

Well, actually the planets are named after Roman gods.

The Octal System, for the eight planets.
