i have dial up internt and i can get online for about 7 min. and after 7 min the connection dosent disconnect it just freezes when i try to go to a website it says page cannot be displayed what could this be and how can i fix it i tried winsockfix on it and it says c:/windows/command.com is missing any suggestions

The browser gives up trying to connect since you have dialup it has to wait in one line. With broadband you have hundreds of lines for the browser to flip back and forth on to get a connection.
I suggest you check with you phone company on getting DSL. If you are within a mile of their fiber optic cables and sign up for a year, you should be able to get DSL for $20/mo or less. You have to re-sign up after every year and the price may go up a bit. But it's certainly worth avoiding all the frustrations of dialup.
P.S. Depending on how old your computer is you may have to add some parts, which any computer geek can do.

command.com is a bit of a core file, it does give a dos prompt, but i would advise running a full virus/spyware scan before messing around with the winsock registry files.
i use adaware and windows defender to scan i would advise you do the same, also deleteing your temp internet files.
