why would the burners not be working. Cant hear or smell gas but the ignitors are clicking but no fire. Any ideas why this is happening? Cant understand why the oven would work but the burners wont.

some gas ranges have electric ovens if they are self-cleaning... I'd call the gas company and have them check the line if you are turning on the burners and lighting a match to get them to ignite, you have gas.. if that doesn't work.. call the gas company. Don't leave the burner in the on position for a long time just in case you are getting some gas flowing in the line.

lift the top of range and see if there is a reset button on the burners?igniters clicking but are they sparking? if piezo type?oven might be on separate circuit?

There is a separator in the back of it that runs the two. It might be pinched or clogged up. Be careful.
