personal bodyguards are unique people... to be good one must be a people person, and have street smarts... size is not an issue if you know your stuff... one should be in good health and know various styles of protecting/serving their client...
it is the using minimal force that makes the difference in good and not so good BG, your job is to protect not beat people up especially in a star-struck fan situation.
there are several types/forms you can learn including martial arts.
i suggest that you yahoo search under BG and look into the schools

you must have huge body and strong muscles to work as bidyguard with high skill in using arms and very brave heart added to best racing driver.

you have to have special training for that, I've been around body guards fro a while and you also have to have a certain mentality for it also, but they have body guarding companies so look some of those up

look in the classified section for body guards or the phone book, you will have a swimming test and other water tests and your knowledge of c.p.r.

You should take criminal justice classes.
